Assisting The Training Of Applied Creative Talents "Red Green Blue Cup" College Textile Design Competition Held

　　 Recently, the award ceremony of the "Red Green Blue Cup" 11th China University Textile Design Competition was held in Changfa Business Center, Keqiao District, Shaoxing City. Jiang Shicheng, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Ni Yangsheng, president of the China Textile and Garment Education Society, as well as several industry experts, university leaders and award-winning teachers and students from more than 30 universities across the country attended the award ceremony.

　　 At the awarding ceremony, all the guests came to the stage to make speeches, put forward many constructive suggestions for this event from their own fields of expertise, and at the same time, explored and recommended the excellent new generation creative design strength of China's textile industry in improving the level of fabric design and new product development, The role of building national textile design and development teaching achievements and academic exchange platform for college students has been fully recognized. 　

　　 It is understood that the China University Textile Design Competition, as an important national specialty discipline competition, is jointly sponsored by the China Textile and Clothing Education Association and the Ministry of Education's College Textile Teaching Steering Committee under the guidance of the China Textile Industry Federation, and co organized by the Shaoxing Keqiao Economic and Technological Development Zone Management Committee and Shaoxing University of Arts and Sciences. Since its inception in 2009, the competition has been highly valued by the People's Government of Keqiao District, Shaoxing City and relevant universities, and has been strongly supported by Zhejiang Yuelong Holding Group Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Red Green Blue Textile Printing and Dyeing Co., Ltd., China Textile Academy (Zhejiang) Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd. and other units.

　　 The competition, based on the theme of "science and technology fashion and quality life" and the competition principle of "voluntary participation, strength demonstration, fair competition, and level competition", focused on the teaching level of China's textile higher education teaching achievements, curriculum design, graduation design and other related practice links, and actively advocated an advanced and practical training model for application-oriented talents. 　

　　 According to the practice of previous years, this competition has five groups, namely, "Knitted Clothing Fabric Design", "Woven Clothing Fabric Design", "Home Textile Decorative Fabric Design", "Fabric Pattern Design" and "Fiber Art and Material Reconstruction Design". Since the official launch of the notice in May 2019, 1919 entries have been collected by September 30, 2019, It has attracted the active participation of student teams from 47 universities in China. 　

　　 The review expert team unanimously recognized that, among them, three works from Shaoxing University of Arts and Sciences, namely, Linggu Phantom (designer: Minglin, Song Chenxi, Jin Liangjie), Xi'an University of Technology, Bright Sky and Stars (designer: Xue Sitao, Zuo Renjie, Li Wei) and Bamboo Dye (designer: Ren Yanbo), won the grand prize; 52 works such as Fuwen (designer: Xia Shuaifei, Wu Lili, Chen Xiaoli) from Zhejiang University of Technology won the first prize of each group, 10 colleges and universities such as Suzhou University won the best organizational unit award, and 107 teachers such as Jing Miaoling from Tianjin University of Technology won the excellent instructor award. 　

　　 The evaluation experts generally believe that the entries can fully reflect the students' jumping thinking and divergent thinking, and each entry has its unique creativity and highlights, especially in the application of new materials and structural innovation, many of which even have the feasibility of large-scale production and market promotion value. 　

　　 Up to now, the 11th China University Textile Design Competition has been successfully held. This is not only of great significance to the formation of each student's own innovative thinking mode and the cultivation of application-oriented creative talents, but also from the previous entries, especially the award-winning ones, the higher education sector and the textile industry have seen that the innovative inspiration and design ability of contemporary Chinese college students are forming and bursting, and gradually become a help to upgrade traditional industries, Design is a powerful driver to enhance product value.
